Manual Tester - ServiceNow (InformationTechnology/Software)


Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes. Role Overview Our client currently has a vacancy for a Manual Tester (ServiceNow) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Job type: Full Time / Permanent Location: Belgium Workplace: Remote Please note that we can consider only EU candidates for this position due to security clearance. Requirements University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 11 years of relevant working experience in IT; Hands-on experience in the manual testing of ServiceNow applications in enterprise environments; Experience with ServiceNow testing practices, including Test Management and Release cycles; Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, regression, exploratory testing); Experience with test case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow Test Management, Zephyr); Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira); Experience preparing test data, ideally using SQL and relational databases; Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) and HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) modules; Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and their impact on testing cycles; Awareness of test automation approaches (though not required to automate); The following certifications are considered an asset: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM (formerly ITBM), ServiceNow Certified Test Management 2.0, ISTQB Foundation Level or higher; Excellent command of the English language. Responsibilities Definition of test plans and detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements; Design and construction of test scenarios and manual test scripts; Execution of manual tests in both functional and integration testing phases; Reporting, logging, and follow-up of defects and incidents; Test coordination, including collaboration with business analysts, developers, and product owners; Participation in test review meetings and preparation of test progress reports; Support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
